Many of our physicians have pursued advanced training beyond basic anesthesia residency in areas including Cardiac Anesthesia, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and Critical Care Medicine.
Our physicians have extensive experience in specific areas of anesthesia including cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, otolaryngologic, electrophysiologic, bariatric, plastic and reconstructive, and complex spinal surgery. We offer exceptional strength in advanced anesthesia practice and monitoring techniques such as arterial catheterization, central venous pressure monitoring, pulmonary artery catheterization, anesthesia for neuromonitoring, lung isolation techniques, advanced airway management, advanced cardiac anesthesia techniques, and transesophageal echocardiography.
Scheduling
Excel Anesthesia always strives to meet your scheduling needs.
Cases are routinely scheduled through our Abeo office staff, Shelly Shea or Lindy Ylanan, at 972-233-9139. Their email addresses are sshea@abeomed.com and lylanan@abeomed.com. Office hours are usually 7 am until 5.30 pm.
Our after-hours answering service is available at all other times (through our office phone) to direct you to our on-call physician. An Excel physician is available 24 hours a day. On-call physicians will be pleased to facilitate scheduling, along with our scheduling physician who manages the schedule on a weekly basis.
